Alumni Relations works closely with the Vice President of External Affairs to be the main point of contact with the UF Alumni Association and to oversee directors with Florida Blue Key Alumni chapters and Gator Club chapters. The Chair will be responsible for creating events to expose Florida Blue Key members to employment and networking opportunities, supporting and organizing FBK Alumni Chapters events, corresponding with Gator Clubs in their region, facilitating awareness of UFAA events near FBK Alumni Chapters, providing current actives with willing mentors, raising money for the O’Connell Society, and connecting current FBK members to jobs/internships throughout the United States.

Jacqueline Hahn is a fourth-year Political Science and English major from Tampa, Florida. In addition to being Florida Blue Key’s Alumni Relations Chair, she holds leadership positions in organizations such as UF’s Student Honor Code Administration, the Gator Society for Pre-Law Women, and UF’s Chomp the Vote. Throughout her time at the University of Florida, Jacqueline has been Florida Blue Key’s Tampa Alumni Director, a Judicial Board Member for UF’s Panhellenic Council, a dancer for Dance Marathon, and a member of UF’s Historical Buildings and Sites Committee. Additionally, Jacqueline is heavily involved in her sorority, Kappa Delta, where she currently serves as the Alumni Relations Chair and was previously on the Standards Board. Currently, Jacqueline interns at the United States Attorney’s Office in Gainesville and is hoping to attend law school next year.

Emma Towler is a third-year Political Science and Economics double major on the pre-law track. In addition to serving as the Jacksonville FBKAA Director, Emma serves as one of the Directors of Keystone Florida and Chief of Staff for the Student Government Accountability Agency. Throughout her time at UF, Emma has served as a Preview Staffer, Student Services Executive Secretary in Student Government, Director of Outreach for the Bob Graham Center Student Fellows, a Student Senator on the Faculty Senate, and a member of the Reitz Union Board of Managers. As a Jacksonville native, Emma is excited to serve the Jacksonville and Florida Blue Key community this upcoming year.

Audrey Weigel is a third-year Advertising student from Miami, FL. She was first introduced to Florida Blue Key through its inaugural cohort of Florida’s Future Leadership Program. This upcoming year she will be serving as the President of PaCE Pathway Program, an organization she founded that strives to give every PaCE student that has not transitioned to campus a mentor. Additionally, she will be serving as an Assistant Director of Public Relations for the Panhellenic Council and Gator Growl. Throughout her time at UF, she served the University as the Sophomore Class President for Student Government and as the Alumnae-Relations Chairwoman for Gamma Phi Beta.

Amanda Vega is a fourth-year Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience major with a minor in French and Francophone studies. She is originally from Miami, FL, and currently serves as the President of Sigma Kappa Sorority. She has also served as the Public Relations chairwoman of Sigma Kappa before becoming president. Amanda has also been involved in Student Government, as the Director of Social Media for Action SG and now currently serves as the Press Secretary in Student Government. Amanda is very excited and honored to fulfill her role as the Orlando Director!

Charlotte Holman is a third-year student from Tampa. She is studying finance with a minor in history with plans to attend law school following her undergraduate studies. Charlotte currently serves as the Finance Director of Gator Growl, Vice President of Member Education for Kappa Delta Sorority, and has recently participated in efforts to bring a chapter of International Justice Mission to UF, where she now serves as Treasurer. In her free time, Charlotte enjoys reading, playing tennis, and watching Tampa Bay Lightning hockey.

Alexandra Valad is a third-year Business Administration student from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She has been involved in business and campus organizations such as UF Homecoming and Gator Growl, Heavener Leadership Challenge, and Student Government. Alexandra is also studying abroad this summer in Florence to further my skills in the Italian language. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a career in the field of Marketing.

Samantha Epstein is a fourth-year Nutritional Science major from St. Petersburg Florida. She is pre-med and applying to medical school this upcoming year. Samantha is an undergraduate research assistant in a nutritional science lab and volunteers at Shands Hospital. She served as a Panhellenic Counselor last year and is looking forward to doing it again for a second year. Additionally, Samantha is the Membership Vice President of Order of Omega, and a member of Alpha Epsilon Delta, a pre-health honor society. She is very excited to serve as the New York City Director this upcoming year!

Christian DePersio is a fourth-year Accounting major and a Real Estate minor. During his time at the University of Florida, he has served as a member of the Stephen C. O’Connell Center Advisory Board and as Treasurer for Kappa Sigma Fraternity. For Florida Blue Key, Christian has previously served as Director of Health Professions Day and Director of Alumni Relations for North Florida. He is honored and excited to serve as the Atlanta Alumni Director this year.

Damon Veras, from Miami, Florida, is a junior, currently working on his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a specialization in public affairs. He continues to serve in a variety of leadership positions on campus, including Chair of Chomp the Vote agency in the Student Government Executive Branch, President of Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity, and was Auditor for the Inter-Residence Hall Association. Damon plans to pursue his Master’s of Business Administration degree upon completion of his undergraduate coursework in his pursuit of one day becoming a consultant. As part of the 2021 tapping class, he is honored and excited to serve as Director of Alumni Relations for the Washington D.C. metropolitan area.
