Before becoming Florida Blue Key President, Garrick was the Vice President of Alumni Affairs from April 2013-April 2014. Garrick also was the Homecoming Chairman in 2011 after serving as the Associate Producer of the Creative Team and the Director of Casting and Productions for Gator Growl. This year marks the sixth Gator Growl that Garrick has worked on. Garrick moved to Florida from Colorado in 2000 and lived in Merritt Island before coming to UF for college. He received his B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Business in 2012, and is a rising third year law student. In law school, he’s served as a Teaching Assistant for Legal Writing, and he’s a competing member on the Alternative Dispute Resolution Team which enabled him to represent the University of Florida at a Sports Law Client Negotiation Competition at Fordham Law School in New York. In addition to serving as Florida Blue Key President this Fall, he will also be a Teaching Assistant for Trial Practice and will be completing the Criminal Prosecution Clinic so he can practice litigating real cases while he’s still in school. Garrick enjoys playing volleyball during his free time.
Robbie Cusmano | Vice President of MembershipEmail Robbie
Robbie Cusmano was born and raised in Deerfield Beach, Florida, before moving up to Gainesville to start his undergraduate career. During his four years of undergrad, he was involved in a number of student organizations and held a handful of leadership positions, including President of the Chi Phi Fraternity, Treasurer of the Order of Omega Greek Honor Society, three-time Morale Captain for Dance Marathon, and a member of the Student and Greek Conduct Committee. He graduated in May 2012 with degrees in Business (Economics) and Political Science. Currently, he is pursuing professional degrees as a part of the JD/MBA joint degree program. He has also held a number of positions in graduate school, including Treasurer and President of the John Marshall Bar Association, a member of the Masters in Business Administration Association, and a member of the Student Government Elections Commission. As a part of the Fall 2011 Tapping Class, he is more than excited to have the opportunity to serve the members of Florida Blue Key as this semester’s Vice President of Membership. Dave Chauncey | Vice President of Alumni AssociationEmail Dave
Dave Chauncey is a third year law student from New Port Richey, FL. Dave served on the Florida Blue Key Executive Board as Executive-At-Large in Fall 2013 and Spring 2014 before being elected to his current position. Dave has also served on the Tapping Committee, contributed to Homecoming, and Bylaw Revisions within Florida Blue Key. Prior to law school, Dave graduated in 2010 from the University of Florida with two Bachelors of Science degrees in History and Political Science (specializing in International Relations and Public Administration) and a minor in Mass Communications. He was a brother in Kappa Phi Epsilon Fraternity and led Kappa Phi as President in 2009. Dave also served in various positions on campus and throughout Student Government. After undergrad, he joined Teach For America in 2010 and taught middle school social studies, writing, and reading skills for two years at Ribault Middle School in Jacksonville, FL. During Dave’s tenure at Ribault, 94% of his students passed the FCAT Writing test contributing to the school rising from an F grade to a C grade according to the Florida Department of Education. Dave’s family, friends, and his faith in God are the most important parts of his life and he is a member of Greenhouse Church in Gainesville, FL.

Bradley is a second-year Master of Health Administration student from Pensacola, Florida. He graduated from the University of Florida in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and minor in Business Administration. As a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, Bradley has been active in the Greek community and held various positions in campus organizations. Bradley enjoys golfing and Gator football.
Patrick Spook | TreasurerEmail Patrick
Patrick Spook is a third year J.D./M.S. in Real Estate candidate from Tallahassee, Florida. In law school, Patrick serves as the Communications Editor of the Florida Law Review, a student representative for Barbri bar review, and is involved with Dance Marathon. Prior to graduate school, Patrick graduated from from UF with a B.S. in Building Construction in May 2012. During his undergraduate studies at UF, Patrick was actively involved in Dance Marathon, serving as the Internal Communications Director and Entertainment Chair. Patrick has also served as the Vice President of Membership of his fraternity, and has held various leadership positions in Gator Growl, the student chapter of Associated General Contractors, and the Interfraternity Council. Patrick was tapped into Florida Blue Key in Fall 2011 and has served as the Assistant Treasurer and as a member of the Bylaws Committee.

Evan Schauder is a fourth year Accounting major in the Fisher School of Accounting. He is from Winter Park, Florida and was tapped into Florida Blue Key in Fall 2012. During his time at the University of Florida, Evan has served as the Associate Producer of Finance for Gator Growl and Homecoming, the Treasurer and Vice Chair of Productions for ACCENT Speakers Bureau, the Treasurer and Vice President of Alpha Epsilon Pi, and Spokesperson for Jewish Awareness Month. He is extremely excited for the opportunity to be the 2014 Homecoming Chairman.

Devin McDaniel is a third year Marketing major with minors in Entrepreneurship, Leadership, and Retail. She is from Palm Harbor, Florida and was tapped into Florida Blue Key in Spring 2013. During her time at the University of Florida Devin has served as the Associate Producer of Campus Events and Director of University Sales for Gator Growl and Homecoming, the President of Gators of Tomorrow, the Property Manager for Alpha Delta Pi sorority, Director of Events for Gainesville Fashion Week, an active member of Order of Omega, and a second year Small Group Leader for the Young Leaders Conference. She is extremely excited and honored to be the 2014 Gator Growl Executive Producer. Let the Gator Growl!
Ali Hassell | Divisions CoordinatorEmail Ali
Ali Hassell is a fourth year Business Management student from Tarpon Springs, Florida. Prior to serving as the Divisions Coordinator for Florida Blue Key, Ali was the Executive Director for the 2014 Miss University of Florida Scholarship Pageant, which is an official local pageant within the Miss America Organization. Ali served an Assistant Director for the pageant in 2012 and 2013. Additionally, she was selected to be a member of the Florida Leadership Academy within the Warrington College of Business where she served as the Historian. She has held various positions in Gator Growl , as well as within her sorority, Alpha Delta Pi. Ali continues to be an active member of Alpha Delta Pi, and she currently serves as the Alumnae Relations Chair.
Paras Saxena | Speaker’s Bureau ChairmanEmail Paras
Paras Saxena is a senior at the University of Florida, majoring in Political Science with minors in Non-Profit Organization & Leadership, and Business Administration. Paras is from Orlando, Florida and was tapped into Florida Blue Key in Fall 2013. In addition to serving as the Chairman of the FBK Speaker’s Bureau, previously he has served as the Associate Chairman of Forensics for Speaker’s Bureau, as well as Chief Justice of Student Traffic Court. His other activities include Philanthropy Chair and Derby Days Chair for the Sigma Chi Fraternity.
Joshua Comiter | O’Connell Society ChairmanEmail Joshua
Joshua Comiter is a fourth year student from Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, majoring in Business with a specialization in Urban & Regional Planning, and dual minoring in Real Estate & Entrepreneurship. Joshua was the first and only student in University of Florida history to serve as Honorary Mr. 2 Bits and is currently a member of the Florida Blue Key Executive Board as Chairman of the O’Connell Society. He was the past Director of Sponsorships for Florida Blue Key Divisions and was the Brother at Large and Involvement Chair for his fraternity, Tau Epsilon Phi. In Student Government, Joshua served as Jennings and District B senator, vice chairman to both the Budget & Allocations Committees and oversaw the distribution of the Student Government’s $18.9 million budget. He was a member of the Replacement & Agenda Committee as Member at Large and a member of the Swamp Party Executive Board. Joshua is a licensed real estate agent in Florida and New York and is a leasing agent for University Realty. He was tapped into Florida Blue Key in Fall 2013.
