Rachel Chapman | Divisions Coordinator
Rachel Chapman is a third year Health Science major in the Public Health and Health Professions College on the Pre-Medical track. In addition to serving as Divisions Coordinator, Rachel is on the Executive Board for Gators For A Children’s Heart Foundation and Camp Kesem. She is an active member of her sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha. Rachel has loved being a part of the Gator Nation and is excited to take part in the planning of Health Professions Day, Legal Day, Gator Day and the Miss UF Pageant.
Gaylen Morgan | Gator Day
Gaylen Morgan is a third year student majoring in Health Education and Behavior with minors in Education and Business Administration. In addition to dedicating her time to Directing Florida Blue Key’s Gator Day, she is President of the Education College Council and has been continually involved in Dance Marathon. She is also an active member of her sorority, Alpha Delta Pi. Over the past three years, Gaylen has spent her time investing in politics at the federal, state, and local level and is excited to bring the experience she gained in these various roles to Gator Day 2017.
Lucas Fernandez Rocha | Legal Professions Day
Lucas is a third year History and Spanish double major with a minor in Business Administration from Miami, Florida. As a student, he has made an big effort to make an impact on campus. Presently, he is involved with a variety of organizations such as the Florida Cicerones, the Interfraternity Council, Student Government Productions, and currently serves as the president of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Student Council. He really hopes that Legal Professions Day will be able to shape students’ future career goals, just as this event has done for him.
Erin Sweeney | Health Professions Day
Erin Sweeney is a Biology major on the pre-medical track here at the University of Florida. In addition to being the Health Professions Day Director, she serves as a Project Makeover Captain, a volunteer at Shands Hospital, and a Membership Assistant for her sorority, Kappa Kappa Gamma. She aspires to be a dermatologist. In her spare time, Erin enjoys running and competing in triathlons.
Julia Sullivan | Public Relations
Julia Sullivan is a fourth-year student from Fort Lauderdale, FL. She is a public relations major, with minors in art history and business administration. In addition to academics and Florida Blue Key events, she is also a public relations captain for Dance Marathon. She truly enjoys giving back to the University and look forward to continuing expanding her involvement. This year as a director, Julia hopes to use social media to increase interaction between Florida Blue Key members and the student body.
Victoria Najmy | Miss University of Florida Pageant
Victoria is a third year advertising student with minors in business administration and entrepreneurship. In addition to serving as the director of the Miss University of Florida Scholarship Pageant, she is actively involved with the College of Journalism as a college ambassador and with The Agency. Victoria is currently serving as the Assistant Catalyst Manager at The Agency. She is also the Executive Vice President of her chapter, Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. After working with the Miss UF Pageant as an assistant director last year, Victoria is honored and excited to serve as the director for the 2017 pageant. Victoria’s goal for the year is to make a positive impact on UF’s campus through the roles of Miss UF and Miss Florida Gator.
Jamie Somerstein |Personnel
Jamie Somerstein is a second year Public Relations major with a minor in Business Administration. In addition to serving as Director of Personnel for Florida Blue Key, Jamie has had the privilege of being a part of Student Government as a sophomore senator. She has also dedicated her time to her chapter, Alpha Epsilon Phi. As a second generation Gator, Jamie is extremely passionate about serving the University of Florida and its diverse community, “in all types of weather.”
Sean Carey | Technology
Sean Carey is a senior Electrical Engineering major from Winter Springs, FL. In addition to serving as Director of Technology for Florida Blue Key, he currently also serves as an Engineering Senator for summer C 2016. This past year he served as the IRHA Business Manager, and has worked at the UF Computing Help Desk for 2 years.
