Alumni Relations

Alumni Relations works closely with the Vice President of External Affairs to be the main point of contact with the UF Alumni Association and to oversee directors with Florida Blue Key Alumni chapters and Gator club chapters. The Chair will be responsible for creating events to expose Florida Blue Key members to employment and networking opportunities, supporting and organizing FBK Alumni Chapters events, corresponding with Gator Clubs in their region, facilitating awareness of UFAA events near FBK Alumni Chapters, providing current actives with willing mentors, raising money for the O’Connell Society, and connecting current FBK members to jobs/internships throughout the United States.

Dana Congress is a senior from Sanibel Island, Florida. She is studying psychology with a minor in mass communication. At UF, Dana has held multiple positions in Homecoming and Gator Growl, serving as the previous homecoming General Chairwoman, Associate General Chair of Campus Events and the Director of BBQ. Dana has also held positions as member at large on the executive board for Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority, Director of Organizational Outreach for Student Government Productions, and a Panhellenic Counselor for Sorority recruitment.


Audrey Carver | FBKAA Jacksonville Director

Audrey is a third year History major with a minor in French and Francophone Studies. As a member of Delta Delta Delta, Audrey has served as her chapter’s Panhellenic Delegate and Vice President of Administration. She also participated in planning the 2018 UF Homecoming Alumni Barbecue.


Jamie Somerstein | FBKAA Tallahassee Director

Jamie Somerstein is a graduating senior majoring in Advertising with a minor in Business Administration. Throughout her time at UF, Jamie has held multiple leadership roles in organizations such as ACCENT Speakers Bureau, Homecoming & Gator Growl and Florida Blue Key Divisions. Jamie hopes to pursue a marketing career in New York City after graduating in May.


Jenna Stephany | FBKAA Orlando Director

Jenna Stephany is a third year Chemical Engineering major seeking a minor in Entrepreneurship. During her time at the University of Florida, Jenna has served as the Director of Pageant for Homecoming and Gator Growl, as the Director of Festival for Homecoming and Gator Growl, and as the Treasurer for Alpha Omicron Pi Fraternity. As part of the Florida Blue Key Fall 2018 tapping class, she is honored and excited to serve as Director of Orlando Alumni Relations.


Trevor Pope | Tampa FBKAA Director

Trevor Pope is a fourth year Economics and Political Science major in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. During his time at UF, he has been involved with the Florida Cicerones, worked for New Student and Family Programs as a Preview Staffer, and founded Student Government’s newest agency, the Class Councils. He plan to attend law school in the Fall of 2019.


Jon Nickas | FBKAA South Florida Director

Jonathan Nickas, from Miami, Florida, is a senior, currently working on his 3/2 Master’s in Accounting degree with a specialization in taxation. He has served in a variety of leadership positions on campus, including Associate Producer of Productions for Gator Growl, Majority Party Leader in the Student Government Senate, and Vice President of Theta Chi Fraternity. Jonathan plans to attend law school next year in his pursuit of one day becoming a tax attorney.


Sean Murtha | FBKAA NYC Director

Sean Murtha is a fifth year Industrial Systems Engineering major from Melbourne, FL. At the University of Florida, Sean served as President of the Interfraternity Council, and as Chapter President of Beta Theta Pi. After graduation in May 2019, Sean will be joining Accenture as a Consulting Analyst in Charlotte, North Carolina.


Christian DePersio | FBKAA Atlanta Director

Christian DePersio is a third-year Accounting major and Real Estate minor. During his time at the University of Florida, Christian has served as a member of the Stephen C. O’Connell Center Advisory Board and as Treasurer for Kappa Sigma Fraternity. For Florida Blue Key, Christian has previously served as Director of Health Professions Day and Director of Alumni Relations for North Florida. He is honored and excited to serve as the Alanta Alumni Director this year.


JR Molm | FBKAA DC Director

John (J.R.) Molm is a third-year Accounting major in the Fisher School of Accounting from Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. He currently serves as the Student Life Division Chairman for Student Government at the University of Florida and as a member of the Student Conduct Committee. Additionally, he has done work with the Florida Blue Key Speech and Debate Tournament, Dance Marathon, and has served various leadership roles within his fraternity – Kappa Sigma.
